Toscana IGT Castello di Ama L'Apparita 1990

What an attractive name for such an appealing domaine! It owes this name to a small village in the hills, 500 metres above sea level. Today it is in the expert hands of the Lorenza Sebasti and Marco Pallanti families. Romana, who belongs to the second generation of one of these families, is a Tuscan oenologist who has lived both locally and in France. She has successfully risen to the challenge of creating top-flight wines at Ama.

This 100% Merlot has a ruby-red appearance with golden hues. The bouquet is characterised by fruity notes enhanced with black pepper and balsamic notes. The palate is crisp, intense and juicy. The tannins are well integrated, and a certain freshness provides the wine with a long, elegant finish. It is a perfect accompaniment for red meat.
