Located in Vernou sur Brenne, in the heart of the Vouvray appellation, domain Vincent Carême was founded in 1999. The 14-hectare vineyard was planted entirely with Chenin by Vincent Carême and his wife, who have practiced organic farming since 2007. In the winery, vinifications are carried out in barrels and casks, using solely ambient yeasts; the wines are then matured for 12 to 18 months in vats? The vineyard now spans just over 17 hectares. Grown in a flinty clay terroir with a limestone subsoil and enjoying a long maturation period sur lattes, this sparkling Loire wine, produced with mastery by Vincent Carême, is one of the appellation's true gems.
