Chablis Pinson Frères (Domaine) 2005
Las informaciones
This domaine, which belonged to the Pinson family and whose origins go back to 1640, is now run by the two brothers Laurent and Christophe Pinson, and Charlène (Laurent's daughter) who joined them in 2008. Major works were undertaken in 2004, including the construction of a new fermentation cell, the expansion of the storage buildings and the installation of a new pressing room. The vineyard extends over 12 hectares and uses one tenth of the "Les Clos" climat, the average age of the vines is 35 years old, the harvest is manual and the grapes harvested first ferment in vats and then in barrels.
This wine has a pale, yellow hue, and a nose with notes of flint and tart fruits – its palate is more corpulent than expected. Well-balanced with a pleasant tension, its finish is elegant.
