Sobre la bodega
The Tomintoul distillery was established in 1964, in the prestigious area of Glenlivet, near the River Avon in Speyside, and is named after one of the highest villages in the Highlands (350 m). Founded by the independent bottlers W&S Strong & Co and Hay & MacLeod & Co, it then passed into the hands of Whyte & Mackay, before being bought by Angus Dundee.
Sobre la «cuvée»
A Tomintoul 8 Year Old from the 1980s. Imported to France by Champagne Lanson, Reims. A Tomintoul 12 year old also exists in a similar bottle. These versions were discontinued in 2002 in favour of a 10 year old, after the distillery was bought in 2000 by Angus Dundee.
