Glen Mohr is a Scottish distillery located in the Highlands of Scotland. Unfortunately it closed in the early 1980s, 1983 to be precise. The whiskies found at iDealwine are therefore extremely rare and promise a very special tasting experience. These notably included a 50 year old single cask finished for more than seven years in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled in 2016 by the famous independent bottler Signatory Vintage. You will also find a quite powerful vintage single malt bottled by Gordon & MacPhail.

A Glen Mohr 23 year old distilled in 1979 and bottled at cask strength in 2001 for the Rare Malts series. Created in the mid-1990s by United Distillers (Diageo), the Rare Malts series features bottlings from many of the group’’s distilleries, including some of the lesser known whose production was generally used for blends, as well as closed distilleries such as Port Ellen and Brora. Bottled at cask strength, the whiskies in the range are also known for their sometimes astounding alcohol content, often exceeding 60% ABV. The Rare Malts range was discontinued in 2005.
