Glenury Royal 36 years 1968 Of. One of 2100 bottles ----
Las informaciones
Glenury Royal was built in 1825 by Captain Robert Barclay, who was a friend of King William IV, enabling it to use the ‘Royal' prefix. After changing hands on various occasions, it was bought by Distillers Company Limited (DCL, the future Diageo) in 1953. After being expanded in 1985 in the midst of a whisky boom, it closed in 1985 in the height of the overproduction crisis. Glenury Royal is an oily, lightly peated and exotic whisky, a few bottles of which can be found among independent bottlers and in Diageo's Rare Malts range.
A Glenury Royal 36 year old distilled in 1968 and bottled in 2004. This bottling is part of Diageo’’s Special Releases, a range released annually that highlights some of the finest whiskies of the group’’s open and closed distilleries. A limited edition of 2,100 bottles.
