Port Charlotte è un whisky molto torbato (40ppm) prodotto dalla distilleria Bruichladdich dal 2001. Deve il suo nome alla distilleria Lochindaal situata nel villaggio di Port Charlotte, poco più a sud di Bruichladdich. Ha chiuso i battenti nel 1929, dopo l’acquisizione da parte del gruppo Distillers Company Limited (DCL). Il Port Charlotte viene invecchiato nelle cantine di questa storica distilleria. La sua produzione fu avviata nel 2001, poco dopo l’acquisizione e la riapertura di Bruichladdich da parte del negoziante Murray McDavid, e il primo imbottigliamento (PC5) venne lanciato sul mercato nel 2006. Fedele allo spirito di Bruichladdich istillato da Jim McEwan, ne esistono varie versioni, con orzi di origini e di maturazioni differenti.
