Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise Hommage Château de Rougeon 2022

Château de Rougeon’s Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise ‘Hommage’ is an elegant 100% Pinot Noir red wine. The light ruby hue with garnet reflections reveals a lively character.
The refined and expressive bouquet is dominated by notes of red berries such as raspberry and cherry, complemented by floral touches of violet and a light spiciness of white pepper. Nuances of undergrowth and damp earth add an extra dimension to the olfactory profile. On the palate, this wine delivers the fresh, lively attack characteristic of Côte Chalonnaise Pinot Noir wines. The fine, well-integrated tannins support fruity flavours balanced by a refreshing acidity. The elegant, persistent finish leaves a pleasant mineral impression.
This wine pairs well with roasted white meats, duck with cherries, soft cheeses and mushroom-based dishes. We recommend serving it between 14 and 16°C to fully appreciate its aromas and structure. Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise Hommage is a fine expression of Pinot Noir produced in Burgundy.
