Barbaresco DOCG Elvio Cogno Bordini 2021

The Nebbiolo grapes stretch over approximately one hectare in northern Italy, near Neive. The ideal sun exposure of the parcel ensures the grapes reach peak ripeness. The carefully hand-picked Nebibiolo grapes are carefully transported to the winery. Traditional, low-intervention winemaking methods are applied to enable the region’s distinctive terroir to express its full character naturally. Finally, the cuvée is aged in Croatian oak casks before bottling.
The ruby-red colour unveils a captivating and expressive bouquet, characterised by a remarkable floral fragrance. Aromas of small red berries, cherry, almond and mint mingle with hints of sweet spices. The rich and elegant palate reveals smooth and supple tannins leading to a persistent, fresh finish.
