Pic Saint-Loup Clos Marie Cuvée Simon Christophe Peyrus et Françoise Julien 2018
La «cuvée»
Simon is a very good representation of the Clos Marie style, offering concentrated aromas and refinement. The nose unveils spice and a pleasing mineral quality. The fruity palate is wonderfully acidic and beautifully balanced. This very nice cuvée is certified organic and produced according to biodynamic principles.
La bodega Clos Marie
★ Bodega asociadaLe Clos Marie is without doubt the Pic Saint-Loup's most beautiful domain, and among the most sought-after by switched-on connoisseurs. From their twenty or so hectares of vines, Christophe Peyrus and his wife Françoise Julien have achieved miracles since 1995. Their vines are biodynamically cultivated, with long, careful élevages. Each of their cuvées is very expressive, reflecting the full diversity of its terroir with its own highly individual style. The star of this already remarkable domain continues to rise. Definitely one to watch! Read more
