Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru Bruno Colin 2018

La «cuvée»

Bâtard Montrachet from Bruno Colin is worthy of its standing, offering plenty of depth and complexity. It is very rich on the palate but always perfectly balanced by a perfect acidic quality. This wine goes well with fish, shellfish and poultry.

After taking his first steps in the family Domaine Michel Colin-Deleger, Bruno Colin took over the reins of his own farm in 2003 and signed his first cuvée a year later in 2004. His vines cover 8 hectares spread over five appellations of the Côte de Beaune: Chassagne-Montrachet, Puligny-Montrachet, Saint-Aubin, Santenay and Maranges. Bruno Colin's values are seen in the image of his Chardonnays: clean and pure. The meticulous care he brings to his vineyard and cellar allows him to present white wines that perfectly reflect the terroir from which they come: mineral, polished and taut. An export praised by the Revue du Vin de France: "a very beautiful collection of Chardonnay terroirs which are perfectly worked and vinified, with good élevage and remarkable tension. The reds are progressing. A very reliable location".
