Barbera d'Asti DOC Voerzio 2021

Nestling in the heart of the Asti region, the Barbera vines express their very best qualities thanks to the region’s soils and microclimates. In addition, sustainable viticultural practices allow both terroir and grape variety to reveal their character naturally. In the winery, the Barbera grapes are then vinified in a traditional, low-intervention fashion. To finish, the cuvée is carefully matured in oak barrels, which imparts remarkable aromatic complexity and tannic structure.
The deep, intense red colour promises a highly aromatic bouquet. The nose is characterised by aromas of ripe red fruit such as plum and cherry, combined with subtle hints of spice, chocolate and vanilla. On the palate, the wine reveals remarkable depth and concentration, with a perfect balance of soft tannins and fine acidity, leading to a deliciously long and flavoursome finish.
