Rias Baixas Crisopa Nanclares y Prieto 2020

The Albariño vines benefit from a maritime climate and environmentally friendly winegrowing methods that respect biodiversity and adhere to the strict principles of biodynamic viticulture. Neither fertilisers nor chemical weedkillers are used, allowing the fruit to express its natural aromas and personality. In the cellar, vinification is carried out with minimal intervention. The grapes undergo a 20-day alcoholic fermentation using indigenous yeasts naturally present on the berries. The wine is then aged in old French oak casks for three months, followed by a further 11 months or so on the lees. Lastly, the wine is carefully bottled without fining.
The straw yellow colour reveals a nose characterised by scents of lemon, grapefruit and nectarine. In the mouth, aromas of green apples and melon balance beautifully with fine acidity, culminating in a lingering mineral finish.
