Chiusa nel 1993 dai suoi proprietari, United Distillers (Diageo), Rosebank è oggi la più quotata tra le distillerie delle Lowlands. Fatto raro e osservato solo per poche distillerie, tra cui Macallan, Ardbeg e Laphroaig, le versioni ufficiali e quelle commercializzate sotto altri marchi, sono ricercate senza distinzione, le une come le altre. Così, nel 2019, tre anni dopo il suo lancio, l'edizione Rosebank True Love della gamma The Roses (commercializzata da Speciality Drinks), ha superato di gran lunga la quotazione della versione ufficiale Rosebank 20 anni Zenith Import (anni ‘80), fino ad allora, etichetta di riferimento del settore. A settembre 2017, il marchio e le riserve rimanenti sono stati acquistati da Ian Macleod Distillers, che nel gennaio 2019 ha ottenuto il permesso di rinnovare e riaprire la Rosebank Distillery, cosa che dovrebbe avvenire entro il 2021.
