¿Por qué escoger este vino?
A complex, deep Pauillac, offering a pleasant fleshiness and great fruity aromas.
Más informaciónIts rich, distinguished character, comparable to many of the Médoc's finest wines, has resulted in its becoming extremely popular. The wines currently being produced are very structured, with intense aromas of red fruit.
The nose reveals notes of undergrowth and pepper. On the palate, it offers a soft and unctuous texture thanks to the great finesse of its tannins. The ensemble is well balanced by a pleasant freshness. 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 1% Carmenère and 1% Petit Verdot
Baron Philippe de Rothschild acquired Château Clerc Milon in 1970, which had fallen into a state of neglect. The renovation of the vineyard by the teams from Château Mouton Rothschild, with a consolidation of the plots and various technical improvements, including the construction of a new vat room, are now bearing fruit. The property was enlarged in 2004 with the acquisition and gradual integration of La Fleur Milon's vineyard.
