Pommard 1er Cru Bouchard Père & Fils 1979
The wine
As Victor Hugo wrote, Pommard wines have "gust, inspiration and occasionally genius". Wines produced from this terroir are very expressive aromatically. This Pommard Premier Cru has an intense bouquet of dark berries with a pleasant hint of wood. It is worth aging for a few years.
