About the wine

This wine comes from a 1.5 ha parcel in the Bierzo area, where the vine is farmed with low yields. The harvest is half destemmed, vinified in vats, macerate for around 40 days. After 20 months of élevage, the wine is bottled with neither clarification nor filtration out of respect of the wine’s balance. Outlined with a delicate fragrance of perfumed flowers such as violet and peony, on the palate there are lovely notes of sour cherries. The tannins are tight but harmonious.
