About the producer

Bellevoye was founded in 2013 by Jean Moueix, director of the holding company Videlot (Bordeaux wine merchant Duclot, Château Pétrus), and Alexandre Sirech, previously the the director of the Cuban branch of the Pernod Ricard group. With no distillery to their name, they blend whiskies from three French distilleries in Lille, Alsace and Charentes. After the first version, Bleu, Bellevoye released the editions Blanc, Rouge, Noir and Prune, all with different casks and finishes, some peated, some unpeated.

About the wine

Bellevoye Rouge is a lightly peated French whisky. It is a blend of three single malts produced in the North of France, in Alsace and Lorraine. After five to ten years’’ maturation in oak casks, it is finished for six months in Bordeaux Grand Cru barrels.
