About the producer

Remarkably located in the middle of three crus classés in the Pessac-Léognan appellation (Bouscaut, Carbonnieux and Smith-Haut-Lafitte), Château Le Thil Comte Clary extracts fantastic potential from its terroir. Very well oriented, one of its particularities is that the clay-limestone soil, with gravelly areas, is not unlike that of Saint Emilion. This unusual agronomic characteristic explains the choice of grape varieties; a departure from the traditional rules for the Graves region.

About the wine

The red wines, aged for 12 months in oak barrels, develop an intense, complex, flowery, fruity nose. Very smooth, they present subtle aromas of candied dark berries and a delicate woodiness.
