About the wine

Griotte-Chambertin is the smallest of the grands crus in Gevrey-Chambertin. A rich and racy wine that develops complex aromas of glacé cherries, fine leather and nutmeg. The older wines have notes of truffle and game. Its finesse and mellowness sometimes outmatches its famous relative: Chambertin
