About the wine

This small port, sheltered in a Mediterranean inlet, is also a tiny appellation area, which coexists with that of Banyuls in the communes of Banyuls-sur-Mer, Cerbère, Collioure and Port-Vendres. Collioure produces powerful, velvety, very fruity red wines, with spicy, toasty notes. They are made from Grenache Noir, Mourvèdre, Syrah, Carignan and Cinsault.
