Information
About the producer

Gil Morrot, a researcher at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), acquired this small four-hectare vineyard in 1999, and he has no plans to expand. The domain is nestled in the village of Montpeyroux, where Morrot produces four different wines from organically-grown vines which are matured in oak barrels.

About the wine

A blend of young vines matured in tanks, this wine has a ruby-red colour and exudes an aromatic bouquet rich in notes of red berries, sweet spices and cocoa. It is meaty and flavoursome, and can be enjoyed straight away with tender meat dishes.
