Information
Agathe Bursin took over the small Alsace family domaine in 2000. She produces beautiful Rieslings that deliver a faithful expression of the terroir. The vineyard is situated mostly in the Zinnkoepflé grand cru. This domaine has organic certification. Production is very limited but well worth it.
This Riesling, which can be stored in the cellar for 10 to 15 years, comes from a grand cru which means "Mount of the Sun". As its name
indicates, the sunny climate allows the berries to reach a good phenolic maturity and
to produce a tasty wine. The generosity of its aromatic notes is balanced by a tension
brought by its origin on limestone soil.
