About the producer

These two thirty-somethings arrived in Languedoc in 2013 after having studied in Burgundy and Provence.
Clos de la Barthassade stretches over 13 hectares and the vines are separated into blocks. Syrah, Mourvèdre, Grenache Noir, Cinsault and Chardonnay all grow here as well as one surprise - Chenin! To amplify the unique soils found on the property, Hélène and Guillaume follow organic and biodynamic practices. Vinification is as natural as possible and they only use natural yeasts to make the wine. Since their first vintage in 2014, a significant number of wines lovers have fallen in love with their unique wines.
