About the wine

A Guyana rum distilled in 1999 and bottled by Plantation. Plantation was launched in 2003 by the Pierre Ferrand cognac house, which was founded in 1989. The house sources its casks from various distilleries and brokers but also owns the West India Rum Distillery in Barbados (WIRD) and has shares in National Rums of Jamaica, meaning it has exclusive access to Long Pond and Clarendon rums and plays a dual role as both a bottler and producer.
