Information
About the producer

Perfectly located on the first gravelly hilltops overlooking the Gironde estuary, Château La Tour de By produces a breathtaking wine. The property was promoted to Cru Bourgeois Supérieur status in the 2003 revision of the 1932 classification.

About the wine

Vinified in barrels (with one third renewed each year), these deep coloured, richly aromatic wines have excellent ageing potential. They are some of the Médoc's most powerful wines, but retain plenty of fruitiness as they mature in the bottle.
