Muscadet-Sèvre-et-Maine sur lie Clos de l'Allée Luneau-Papin 2018
The wine
This cuvée is vinified with indigenous yeasts and aged on the lees in vats for nine months. A very fresh, clean, and mineral Muscadet with excellent persistence on the palate.
About the Producer Luneau Papin
Domaine Luneau-Papin, lies in the Muscadet region, 20 km from Nantes, in the south of the Loire. The property extends over 40 hectares and is managed by Pierre and Monique Luneau who were joined by their son Pierre-Marie in 2005, representing the ninth generation of winemakers. Every parcel here is harvested by hand and vinified and matured individually to allow each terroir to express itself. The vineyards are planted exclusively with Melon de Bougogne. Today, the domain is so successful that more than half of its wines are exported overseas.
