The champagne house André Robert has been managed by the same family for several generations. Bertrand Robert has managed the house with his wine Colette since 1981 and now, Claire Robert (fifth generation) is at the helm. The vineyard spans 14 hectares, for the most part grand and premier cru, with Chardonnay as the main grape. The domain has HEV (high environmental value) certification.

This cuvée is made with Chardonnay grapes from a grand cru classified terroir and vinified in vats (70%) and wood (30%). The property has decided against malolactic fermentation and instead the wine is left to rest on the lees, in bottles, for between four and five years. It has crisp, citrus and white flower notes and a delicious buttery quality, from its time on the lees. A fresh, lively, taut and mineral cuvée with impressive persistence.
