Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vincent Dureuil-Janthial 2017

The wine

This red Burgundy comes from forty-year-old vines grown organically on a clay-chalk terroir and harvested by hand. Vinified and matured in barrels, the wine gives off fruity and lightly toasted notes. This is the ideal wine to savour on its own or alongside a charcuterie platter.

About the Producer Vincent Dureuil-Janthial

Domaine Dureuil-Janthial is the icon of Rully. The Dureuil-Janthial family is one of the oldest of the village, where it has been present since the 13th century. Since 1994, Céline and Vincent Dureuil have been in charge. The vineyard extends over 17 hectares, mainly in the Côte Chalonnaise but also in Côte de Beaune and Côte de Nuits, all on 20 different appellations. It has been certified in organic farming since 2009 and uses certain biodynamic practices, including respect for the lunar calendar. The work is precise and the élevage in particular has made great progress, producing very fine wines. The entire range is reliable and excellent value.
