The wine
This château was graded as a historic monument in 1826. It lies in the heart of Catalonia, near the birthplace of naturally sweet wines: Thuir. In 1786, the site was sold to the Jaubert de Passa family who are owners to this day. The immaculately conserved Rivesaltes now recount a fascinating story and offer the delicious aromatic palette for which AOC Rivesaltes is adored.
About the Producer Bret Brothers
The Bret Brothers domain was founded in 2001 by brothers Jean-Philippe and Jean-Guillaume Bret. They are also the brothers behind the Domaine de la Soufrandière. Their objective has been clear from the beginning: to create specially selected high quality wines under strict and precise specifications. The Bret brothers buy unharvested grapes and then vinify them themselves. Some of their cuvées have organic certification.
