Moulin à Vent Champ de Cour Richard Rottiers (Domaine) 2011
The wine
Champ de Cour is Richard Rottier’s classic, but also very sought after, cuvée. It comes from a 0.8-hectare parcel of old vines located in the heart of the prestigious climat that goes by the same name. Techniques include semi-carbonic maceration for a period of two weeks and elevage in oak fûts for 10 months. The result: a wine rich in notes of red fruit with superb minerality that gives magnificent complexity.
About the Producer Richard Rottiers
Richard Rottier came to Moulin-à-Vent in 2007 and took over three hectacres. Today, his domain amounts to five hectacres of very beautiful vines, aged between 40 and 90 years. His vineyard has organic certification and his wines, with their great elegance and finesse, are quickly becoming recognised as one of Moulin-à-Vent’s most sound investments.
