Château Moulis Château Brilette Comte Perier De Larson 1982
The wine
Château Moulis practices sustainable farming and this wine of theirs is round, juicy and expressive. It evolves to take on complex layers of cedar, tobacco and menthol while keeping its freshness. Hand harvesting ensures that only the finest grapes make the cut. Fermentation takes place in 500 litres new oak fûts, as does elevage along with some 225 litre new oak fûts.
About the Producer Moulis
In 2012, Christian Guillot put his career to one side and threw himself into winemaking. Bordeaux was no stranger to him; he had already paid the city a visit several times on business trips, during which he would often make the most of his time there by studying the local terroirs. Very soon, his children Amélie, Caroline and François went along with the adventure by creating their first château: Graveyron Poujeaux. In 2015, the family seized another exciting opportunity and bought Château Moulis. The Guillot family decided to buy it, renovating the vineyard and the winery. They practice environmentally-friendly agriculture and weedkillers are forbidden.
