Jean Versino and his father Jean-Paul work hand in hand on this family domain, created by the latter in 1955. Jean arrived in 1983, having abandoned his university studies, and helped his father expand the domain which has been managed from its inception according to the principles of organic viticulture. Today, the 13 grape varieties permitted in this appellation’s specifications are cultivated here in 27 plots over ten hectares. On average, the vines are fifty-years old and are never treated with pesticides. This father and son duo let the Mistral do its work; the wind being capable of cleaning the vines. Reputed among professional critics, their wines are matured for 18 months in different wood and are never filtered, underlining their great typicity.
