Founded by the Swansons in 1985, the aim of this eponymous domain was to produce and be known for Merlot in Napa Valley. Once this had been accomplished, they set their sights on other varieties such as Syrah, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Today the domain strives to produce refined, elegant wines, all the while intervening as little as possible.
