Domain: Domaine de Charron

Domaine de Charron was founded in the early 20th century by the Lartigue family in Perquie, in the Landes region of France. At the time, it made a little wine depending on the year, which was entrusted to a local cooperative for the production of the house’s Armagnac. It was in 1985 that Jacques and his brother Claude bought two hectares of vine planted with Baco from their father Fernand, who was planning on uprooting the vines, resulting in the estate we know today. The brothers entrusted the work to a neighbouring wine-grower, who quickly helped produce a high-quality wine, ideal for distilling and creating their Armagnac. Domaine de Charron releases vintage and cask strength Armagnacs, all produced with the Baco grape variety.
