The Copperworks distillery, located on Seattle’s waterfront, meticulously crafts single malt whiskies, gins and vodka. Jason Parker and Micah Nutt, both craft beer makers, decided to establish their own distillery to explore the limits of malted barley by distilling craft beer into spirits. The distillery is equipped with four traditional stills, manufactured directly in Scotland and built specifically for them. In addition, there are large stainless steel fermentation tanks, weighing in at over 4,500 kg, which are required to produce the craft beers and subsequently the spirits. The distillery has been open to the public since 2013, offering a wide range of tasting sessions to learn about these exceptional spirits and enjoy them. These spirits can be enjoyed on their own or used to create subtle blends for cocktails.
