Maison Janneau was founded in 1851 and is renowned for its expertise and taste for innovation. Although five generations have followed on from one another at the head of the company, Janneau is not just a family story. It was bought by Martel in 1974, followed by Seagram’s and Giovinetti & Figli spA, and finally Spirit France in 2014. Janneau Armagnacs are a spearhead for the category and were notably included on Concorde’s menu for its transatlantic flights.
