Alsace wines labelled, "Vendanges Tardives" ("Late Harvest") are made from perfectly ripe (but not overripe) fruit. These powerful, rich, complex wines can reach up to 16% natural alcohol. Depending on the producer, the wines can be dry, demi-sec or sweet. Their deep, concentrated colour and incomparable bouquet of ripe, candied fruit make them a truly exceptional product. Smooth and velvety, they combine structure, substance and richness without being heavy.
