The cool summer and start of autumn was not very encouraging for the vineyards. However, the abnormal temperatures of the spring had given the vegetation a head start, which meant that when the sun finally appeared at the end of September, the grapes ripened extremely well. The harvests picked during the good weather resulted in very pleasant, good quality wines. They have reserved a few surprises for any discerning connoisseurs that decided to give them a go.
