Although there were no spring frosts, the volume of grapes was very low. The wines are frank and devoid of any astringency. In the Côte de Beaune they are full-bodied and deep-coloured with a luxurious vinosity and rich bouquet. An excellent vintage, these wines follow the proud tradition of the great Burgundy years.
