Victoria wines are very good and concentrated. Reds from the King Valley are particularly deep and intensely coloured, with very fruity whites. Whites from around Melbourne and the Pinot Noirs of the Yarra Valley have reached full expression, and the vintage from Mornington Valley promises to be one of the most successful yet. Tasmania enjoyed a fantastic vintage, particularly thanks to very high quality Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs.
