In the village of Ayse, in the heart of the Arve valley, a vineyard spreads over extremely steep slopes. The Belluard domaine cultivates the distinctive Gringet variety on 10 of its 22 hectares of land. Dominique Belluard chose to convert to biodynamic farming in 2001, which has contributed to his wines’ growing recognition. He produces exacting, wonderfully elegant wines. The old vintages of the Le Feu cuvée are true gems.
About the cuvée
Domaine Belluard’s cuvée of pure Gringet is phenomenal, and so much more than merely an unusual sparkling wine! Just like the Loire’s Triple Zéro, this is an authentic sparkling wine with great complexity and a touch of minerality. It’s fresh and digestible; a perfect aperitif wine.
