About the wine
Overlooking the Beaujolais plain, Chiroubles is the highest Beaujolais cru, perched at an altitude of 400 metres in a granite amphitheatre. Very drinkable, soft and elegant, this wine has a sparkling red colour. The nose blends delicious, delicate aromas of peonies, lily of the valley and violets. Refined and very fruity, it is highly typical of the Beaujolais style.
