A Malbec vinified by the Tusan Alberto Antonini. To enjoy soon with a roasted or grilled dish.
More infoThe Malbec grapes used in this cuvée are grown in a vineyard at Lujan de Cujo. The vines enjoy high daytime temperatures and delicate limestone and sand soil that drains well, encouraging the roots to push deep.
Harvested by hand, the grapes are meticulously sorted before a gentle pressing and wild-yeast fermentation, a process that helps to preserve the terroir’s character. Fermentation lasts for 10 days in stainless steel vats. The wine is then matured for 9 months in concrete containers. These are inert, allowing the varietal to retain its pure profile.
In the glass, this cuvée has a concentrated, ruby-red colour. It has a nose of ripe, red and black fruits, mint, and a hint of pepper. It has an intense and silky mouthfeel structured by fine tannins, and it lingers on the palate. We recommend savouring this cuvée within its first, ten years, and you might want to pair it with a flavourful dish like lasagne, grilled aubergine, or a sweet potato gratin.
