Lot presentation

Beaune 1er Cru Bressandes Rapet Père & Fils 2011

The wine

The Rapet & Fils domain produces elegant and mellow wines. This bottle offers a distinguished wine with wonderful finesse. Its floral nose is franker and more velvety on the palate with a masterful balance between acidity and sweetness. After five to ten years in the cellar, it will reach its peak and will be ideal to accompany a white meat or refined cheese.

About the Producer Rapet Père & Fils

Domaine Rapet Père et Fils, is a very old family domaine in Pernand-Vergelesses (confirmed by an engraved 1765 tastevin). The vineyard extends over 20 hectares, spread between Pernand-Vergelesses, Savigny-les-Beaune, Chorey-les-Beaune, Aloxe-Corton and Beaune. It is managed in a sustainable and responsible manner to minimise phytosanitary treatments. The wines are of a modern style and express the typical nature of their terroir well; they are all the more interesting as prices remain reasonable.
