A family affair, Domaine Grand came into being in the 17th century under the auspices of Antoine and Claudine Grand who already possessed a few hectares of vines. In the 70s, three brothers shared the exploitation between them and after their departure, Emmanuel, a son of one of the brothers, took up the torch. His wife Nathalie, who he met during an audit of the domain, chose to join him in his endeavour. Together, they reduced the vineyard to 11 hectares and favour organic agriculture to care for the rare terroirs they own.
Powerfully aromatic, this Château Châlon – a true gem of the Jura – is here crafted according to a philosophy that is organic and respectful of its domain.
