The climatic conditions were not particularly favourable for the vines, nevertheless there were a few sunny weeks during the summer and the weather was generally good during the harvest. A few good wines from this very irregular year. The wine from the slopes, where the grapes were harvested late, is well-composed, elegant, fine and very frank.
