Due to a late flowering, the grapes received a maximum amount of exceptionally good weather at the end of the season. The grapes ripened well and were in a perfect sanitary state. The red wines are a lovely purple with frank and distinguished aromas. They are robust and well-balanced. The white wines are a touch firm, but extremely fruity and elegant with a long and persistent flavours. The 1972 harvest is ranked amongst the good vintages.
