Vieux Château Bourgneuf changed names to Domain Fayat-Thunevin when it was bought by Clément Fayat and Jean-Luc Thunevin. The vines are located in the Néac commune, a stone’s throw from those of La Fleur de Boüard and grow on a terroir of limestone and sand. A majority of Merlot is grown, with some Carbernet Franc. This new domain no longer exists, as in 2009, the two business partners decided to share the vines between Château Fayat, Clos du Beau-Père and Domaine des Sabine.

The clay rich terroir of this Lalande-de-Pomerol bestow it with a rich profile. The Merlot offers power while the tannins ensure great ageing potential.

These estates may have adopted biodynamic principles (non-certified) or simply no longer use chemical products. This designation applies to recent vintages.
Natural : Wines which are produced without any added sulfur (or almost any) and with no other inputs. However, given that there is no official body to issue the natural wine label, it is based on winemakers’ statements. This designation applies to recent vintages.
