The Domaine Lamarche is a family business which goes back several generations. Since 1797 it has produced 14 different wines on the prestigious terroirs of Vosne-Romanée and Vougeot. Family-run by François Lamarche, his wife Marie-Blanche, her sister Geneviève, and daughter Nicole, the domain spreads over 11.23 hectares. It is managed using sustainable farming principles and is equally divided between Pinots Noirs for one half, and Chardonnays and Pinots Blancs for the other half. Well-known for being the sole domain producing the rare Grands Crus of Vosne-Romanée, it also has three other grands crus, including Clos de Vougeot, échezeaux, and Grands-échezeaux. The Lamarche family produces and matures its own wines; a low yield, a perfectly matured grape, as well as a meticulous sorting are reflected in the wines produced at the Lamarche domain.
